This Weeks TikTok Trend: "If I Won The Lottery I Wouldn't Tell Anyone, But There Would be Signs"
TikTok is an app full of billions of videos that different users all across the world will post and/or view. With that being said, spikes of trends have been seen continuously throughout the lifetime of this platform. Whether it be people using the same sound, doing the same dance, or even the same caption, people use these TikTok trends to put their own creative spin on a popular idea and post it out to become apart of this trending community. Because there are some many trends continuously popping up on the platform, I though it would be interesting to choose a top trend of the week, in my own opinion, and tell you why it should be in that top spot.
Starting off strong, this weeks TikTok Trend is the "If I Won The Lottery I Wouldn't Tell Anyone, But There Would be Signs". Basically, this trend consists of users posting two photo slides, the first one of a random picture with the caption "If I won the lottery I wouldn't tell anyone...", followed by the next slide showing a photo of what they would spend their money on with the caption "But there would be signs". Normally this trend is posted under the sound of the song "End of Beginning" by Djo. This trend not only allows users to creatively show their interests by expressing how or what they would spend their money on if they won the lottery, but it can also give some a chance to be more funny with it and give viewers a laugh of the ridiculous items that people would spend money on.
Overall I think this trend is very entertaining and for both the user to create and post, as well as the viewer to watch. I have already spend longer than I am proud of scrolling through this sound of all the videos under this trend.
