Recently, within the vast ocean of TikTok and all of the different videos that consists within it, there has been a new up and coming trend- The Bruise Prank.  And it is pretty explanatory from its name, you prank someone that you have a bruise.  The basis of the prank is that users apply a bruise filter to their photos, strategically place the "injury" in a conspicuous location, and then capture the priceless reactions of their unsuspecting loved ones.

By utilizing TikTok's array of editing tools and filters, users can convincingly fake a bruise, making it look like they've been in some sort of accident or altercation. The reactions from friends and family vary from shock and concern to disbelief and, eventually, laughter when the truth is revealed.

But what makes the Bruise Prank trend so compelling? For starters, it taps into the universal appeal of pranks and practical jokes. There's something inherently amusing about catching someone off guard and witnessing their genuine reaction to a seemingly bizarre situation.
